Puppy Purchase Agreement/Health Guarantee
The purpose of this agreement is to protect the breeders reputation, the care and treatment of the puppy/dog and to clarify terms so as to prevent any future disagreements between the parties herein referred to as buyer and seller.
Deposits:
Buyer understands and agrees all deposits placed to hold a puppy are nonrefundable.
ALL ENGLISH BULLDOGS SOLD WILL HAVE BEENN HONESTLY REPRESENTED AND EVALUATED BY THE BREEDER AND LICENSED VETERINARIAN AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE AT THE TIME OF SALE!
Buyers Responsibilities:
Have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt. If there are any life threatening defects of the puppy seller must be informed immediately of the examination results. Failure of this will result in the cancellation of this agreement. The puppy must be kept current on all recommended vaccinations and worming, including puppy vet exams as scheduled and yearly vet exams after the first year. Receipts, vet records, etc. must be kept on record and shown as proof. Puppy must be paid in full at time of pick up. Any deposits will be non-refundable unless otherwise stated by breeder
Health Guarantee:
If a serious health problem is discovered during a vet exam within the first 72 hours after purchase, the breeder MUST be notified of the problem within two business days of the licensed veterinarian's determination and have reports from two unassociated licensed veterinarians stating the same problem. Upon verification by breeder's veterinarian of stated health problems, the puppy must be returned to the breeder, unless otherwise agreed by breeder. At that time the AKC registration must be signed back over to the breeder. As soon as available, the buyer will be provided with another puppy of the same sex, quality, and value, and buyer is responsible for delivery and pickup of exchanged puppy. A Puppy with a defect must be returned or euthanized with the prior permission of the breeder to qualify for a replacement puppy. No refund in part or full will be given. Buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the breeder on the replacement puppy. No replacement puppy will be given, if the puppy has been bred, spayed or neutered, or euthanized without the breeders permission. Replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents of the original puppy. This guarantee does not cover what in that breed is considered normal (for example, cherry eye, entropion, "loose hips", skin allergies, elongated soft palate etc.)
All items covered in this guarantee are by replacement only. We do not give refunds.
Breeder will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she/will be responsible for ALL payments.
There are certain disorders, some that may be caused by environmental factors, such as: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, and other autoimmune disorders, that are not covered by this guarantee.
Any physical problem that is or could be the results of injury is not covered under this guarantee. No guarantees are made regarding your puppy's temperament. The temperament of your puppy is largely based upon the amount of time you give to your dog and to its development and socialization. Puppy Kindergarten/Puppy Obedience classes are recommended for all puppies. Proper socialization and training are a must for your puppy to be a well-adjusted, welcome member of your family. No guarantees are made on the size, weight, coat etc. All claims made by seller are educated guesses.
ONE YEAR GUARANTEE for congenital/genetic conditions resulting in puppys death.
If puppy dies before reaching 12 months (1 year of age) due to a congenital/genetic condition documented by two unassociated licensed vets, breeder/seller will provide a replacement puppy of equal value when available. AN AUTOPSY MUST BE PERFORMED to determine the exact cause of death at buyer's expense. Buyer shall send a copy of the autopsy report to the breeder/seller. An original death certificate must be provided to the breeder/seller. If illness occurs, dog is to receive immediate vet care and all prescribed treatment is to be followed (do not call the breeder, but obtain immediate licensed vet care). The dog will not be replaced if it should die from conditions resulting from abuse, hypoglycemic conditions, neglect, accident, etc. Breeder/seller is to be notified within 48 hours of the death of puppy/dog. Breeder/seller is not responsible for ANY vet bills to diagnose or treat the puppy for any kind of condition after the purchase date. All documentation contained within this contract will have to be provided to the breeder/seller before buyer is placed on a list to receive a replacement puppy. No cash refunds; replacement only. Breeder/seller is not responsbile for shipping charges or any kind of charges incurred to replace a puppy/dog. No other provisions, aside from those detailed herein, will be made after the purchase date. If a legal dispute should occur any and all legal or court hearings are to be settled in either Kitsap County, Washington State or Cascade County, Montana State. This is agreed upon by both parties upon signing.
RETURN POLICY:
There are no cash refunds prior to or after shipping. Buyer should be 100% sure they want the puppy before purchasing. The time and expense we go through to relist our puppies/dogs in countless ads in our efforts to resell is costly. Our time is very valuable as we know you will understand. We do not sell our puppies on a trial basis. Therefore be sure you understand that if you change your mind
you are out the money.
We have read the contract, understand the terms, and acknowledge the receipt of or a copy of the contract. We are not relying on verbal or written statements not contained herein. Buyer understands and agrees that noncompliance of any or all of the terms of this health guarantee/purchase agreement will void the guarantee.
